Blehahhh. I arrived at work Monday morning feeling well rested, and briskly alert, a vitamin water in one hand a breakfast burrito in the other, ready for another long day. I came to my desk had a seat at my computer, sternly and steadily typing my way through the morning. Then an hour into the day i felt a slight of what might be a queasiness in my stomach. Standing unexpectedly, I calmly took a walked down the hall; past the copier, right by the receptionist (whom i winked at), the front desk, witch lead me to the restroom. I opened the door rushed to the toilet and proceeded to fiercely and uncontrollably heave and spew my breakfast burrito vitamin water and whatever it was i had the night before continuously and inaccurately into the toilet. As the Vomiting subsided, Icasually cleaned up my inaccuracy, walked out of the restroom, glided past the front desk, proceeded past the receptionist( whom winked back at me), then to my desk. From here i addressed a kindly e-mail to whom it may concern in a simple way, that i must leave for the day.
This travesty lasted only a day, but the next i was week, and faint. I got a good sleep and now I'm OK.
This event however has set me back a few days on my running, and i hope to resume my steady build up to elite running on the next possible day.

My official running Log
Yesterday it was a little bit cooler out side, so after classes I came home changed and took off for Ominson Ranch. I was really in the mood go for a run, I kind of wish I felt like that every day. I ran the top 3 mile loop, with a little rest to stretch out at the top loop, I am especially glad I made that stop other wise a leg cramp was in store for me that night. I swiftly avoided the whole situation with a little stretch. :o)

Day 3
On Friday it was way too hot to run, so instead I swam laps at the Calabasas tennis & swim center. I couldn't find my cap, and I didn't even remember to look for goggles; but I went out and swam as much as my limitations allowed for. This included about half an hour of 2 to 4 lap intervals. I am quite pathetic, but worry not for soon my ability level will rise; much like the tide it will come quite and swift. . .
As for the weekend, Saturday morning I took a run at Pierce Collage with a good friend of mine; we were awake way too early for a Saturday and decided that our time would best be spent running. There are three loops and about three hill on the course; Pukes hill, heart attack hill, dragon loop, dog loop, and lizard loop. Then there is the Duck pond loop and the saute run but I didn't touch those areas for this particular run.
To the right is the view of woodland hills from the top of Dragon loop. :o)

Day 2

Day 1
The Victory Trail head; the start of my first run this training season. It is sunny out with some slow winds. It has been a while since I have run anything; so a short 3 mile jog was all I had planned, only it ended up being a pathetic 2. I felt like I was inhaling out of a balloon and that my legs were divided into block segments that short of just fell on top of each other as I ran, but hopefully that will change quickly.
The real training will begin soon, can't wait for that 40 miles a week. :o)

Intern Life
Interning at the City of Calabasas as a Urban Planner; I am a freshman at California Sate university of Northridge. Planning is a field that covers projects on a varying scale. Everything from the latest in environmental impact, local parks, and new developments, to the signs in front of your business, and the new outdoor fireplace in your back yard. Building the city from it's spine down to every finger tip.
As an Intern my current work load consists of a few minor projects and counter duties, but one day I plan to be a major working part in helping communities develop and maintain their home.
